The music collector
Ripping your compact disc collection to your Astell&Kern digital audio player couldn’t be any smoother or simpler. Take your entire CD collection with you wherever you go.
Just link the AK CD-Ripper MKII to your digital audio player using either a USB-C to microUSB cable or a Micro 5-pin to Micro 5-pin cable. Both are provided, and between them cover every new and legacy player.
Choose your format (WAV or FLAC are both available), choose your ripping speed (normal, fast or very fast) and away you go. Set up your ripping options in advance, and then once you load a disc into the AK CD-Ripper MKII you need only touch the ‘CD ripping’ icon to get under way.
Your digital audio player will contact Gracenote to ensure the correct music data, information and artwork are attached to the ripped files. And if by some extraordinary chance Gracenote does not have all the information you require, metadata can be added manually too.
The AK CD-Ripper MKII is a strong and distinctive looker - and it’s constructed from premium components to ensure flawless performance as well as a unique aesthetic. Internal vibration is minimised using an under-body spring structure to ensure error-free ripping every time.
